Is a German band or the Luxemburgian one?
There was one more band from Germany with the name CLOUD NINE (starting as CLOUD NINE & THE VITAMIN C in 1984 or so and later shortened the name), that was far more interesting than the one above in my opinion, though they never managed to release a proper record. Their history is very well documented in mike-floyd's great blog (see here: http://homemade-lofi-psychedelic.blogspot.com/search/label/artist%3A%20Cloud%20Nine%20%28GER%29).
they started out as a school band and evolved into a full flight neo psychedelic rock band.
