Delivery - "Fools Meeting" {UK} [1970] (Canterbury-Prog) (kindly submitted by Marcus)

Also known as CAROLE GRIME’S DELIVERY, this outfit has an impressive line-up: brothers Phil and Steve Miller on guitars and keyboards, Roy Babbington on bass, Pip Pyle on drums, Lol Coxhill on saxes all backing up singer Carol Grimes - you would expect one Mother of a Canterbury group dishing out some killer jazz-fusion-rock. Well not quite! The results gives a bluesy-rock with slight Canterbury leanings and it probably reflects the fact that they existed since 66 but never recorded anything until 70.

This is a reissue of their very rare 1970 album that has been out of print for close to 30 years. It has been a rare collector's item with a used price of $250 and up. The reissue contains the original album, a non-LP single, an alternate take and two live tracks. The music is a mix between blues, Canterbury, Jazz, psychedelic and progressive rock.

1. Blind To Your Light (5:05)
2. Miserable Man (8:28)
3. Home Made Ruin (3:23)
4. Is It Really The Same (5:44)
5. We Were Satisfied (4:02)
6. The Wrong Time (7:50)
7. Fighting It Out (5:48)
8. Fools Meeting (5:27)

Bonus Tracks
9. Harry Lucky (3:41)
10. Home Made Ruin (alternate take) (2:56)
11. Is It Really The Same (live) (5:19)
12. Blind To Your Light (live) (5:29)

Frankly Isabel I wonder how you to be always present and available. Yet once your new link works. Yet once you answer to frequent solicitations with incredible efficiency. No one knows what to say to both gracious kindness. Thank you, thank you all (included Nahavanda, Munju, Tristan... and the PNF team), you are great!
